Mice Don’t Like Cheese

Myth: Mice love cheese and it makes a great bait for mouse traps. In fact, as any pest exterminator or pet shop owner knows, mice don’t really like cheese at all and they’ll even actively shy away from certain types of cheese (they have a very sensitive sense of smell and certain cheeses give off odors that are repulsive to many types of mice). Radio Contest

I called my local radio station to enter a contest this morning. When the DJ answered he said, “Congratulations on being our first caller, all you have to do us answer my next question correctly to win the grand prize.” “It’s a common knowledge question,” he said. “Feel confident?” “Yes!” I replied. “What have I won?” via

Solar Eruption

This fabulous NASA photo shows a solar filament erupting from our Sun last month. The explosion shot electrons and ions into the Solar System, some of which arrived at Earth three days later and impacted Earth’s magnetosphere, causing visible aurorae. That little black dot (which has been added) equates to the size of Earth.

The Beards - Got Me a Beard

Music video for 'Got Me a Beard' taken from The Beards third album 'Having a Beard is the New Not Having a Beard.' It's an anthem for all the men out there with hairy faces and for those who adore them. The song and music video follow the story of a bearded man who leaves his girlfriend after she asks him to shave. The video was created by animators Chris Edser, Bill Northcott and Jarrod Prince

Old Pastor

As an old pastor lay dying, he sent a message for an Internal Revenue Service agent AND his lawyer to come to the hospital. When both men arrived, they were ushered up to his room.

As they entered the room, the pastor held out his hands and motioned for them to sit on each side of the bed. The pastor grasped their hands, sighed contentedly, smiled and stared at the ceiling.

For a time, no one said anything. Both the IRS agent and lawyer were touched and flattered that the old man would ask them to be with him during his final moments.

They were also puzzled because the pastor had never given any indication that he particularly liked either one of them. Finally, the lawyer asked, "Pastor, why did you ask the two of us to come here?"

The old pastor mustered all his strength, and then said weakly, "Jesus died between two thieves, and that's how I'd like to go!
