Willow Woman

Sculpture of a woman made with willow branches Olga Ziemska is a sculptor and public artist that lives and works in Cleveland, Ohio in a studio by Lake Erie. In her piece entitled Stillness in motion, Olga used locally reclaimed willow branches and wire to create this stunning figure of a woman, using the bottom of the branches to fill the shape of the woman. The sculpture is quite large, measuring 69&Prime x 155&Prime (1.75 x 3.94 meters). It can be seen in-person at the Centre of Polish Sculpture in Oronsko, Poland.
